Description
For this research project, you will choose an inventor and the invention they are most known for and choose the type of presentation you would like to use to show us what you know. You may choose to write a research paper using Word, create a Glog, a Prezi, a PowerPoint or a digital book using Storybird for this project.

Process
First, you will choose an inventor or invention to research. Your topic must be approved by your teacher.
Second, you will conduct research using the Big6 Research Model.You may click the previous link or find it under the Additional Information link at the top of this page. To get you started, answer questions such as::
Third, you will choose your method of presentation and create a presentation. Would you like to:
Fourth, you will cite all sources of information, including images (Google Images is a search engine not a source of information), in APA format using Son of Citation Machine.
Remember- Ask your teacher or medial specialist for help whenever you need it.
Now, it is time to get started. Click any of the headings in the navigation bar at the top of the page for specific resources.

- What is his/her educational background?
- Where was she/he employed?
- What led up to the invention?
- What need or want will the invention satisfy?

- What is the timeline for the development and production of the invention?
- What was the public response to the invention?
- What was the impact on the U.S.? World (if applicable)?
- What is the invention like today? What innovations and changes have been made to bring the invention from

- Write a paper?
- Create a presentation such as a PowerPoint or a Prezi?
- Create an interactive poster using Glogster?
- Create a digital storybook using Storybird?
